Installing Olympus-Grid
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to install Olympus-Grid into your Salesforce environment. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth installation process.
1. Install the Package from AppExchange
Start by installing the Olympus-Grid package from the Salesforce AppExchange.
Steps:
Navigate to the URL provided by the Olympus-Grid team.
Click Get It Now and log in to your Salesforce environment if prompted.
Choose the installation option:
Install for Admins Only (recommended for initial setup).
Install for All Users or Install for Specific Profiles depending on your organization's needs.
Grant necessary permissions and proceed to the next step.
2. Grant Access to Approve Third-Party Access
During installation, you may be prompted to grant access for third-party integrations. These permissions are required for Olympus-Grid to function properly.
Steps:
Review the list of third-party systems requesting access.
Select Yes, grant access to these third-party websites.
Click Continue.

Go to Setup → Installed Packages.
Ensure Olympus-Grid appears in the list of installed packages.

4. Follow the Specific Setup Guide
After installation, complete the specific setup required for Olympus-Grid functionality. This includes configuring the portal and service desk components.
Steps:
a) Setup Portal
Navigate to the Sites section in Setup.
Create or configure the required site for the portal.
Assign the appropriate Visualforce pages (e.g.,
PortalVF
) to the site settings.Set up permissions for the Site Guest User as detailed in the Olympus-Grid documentation.
b) Setup Service Desk
Enable and configure the Delphi Service Desk component in your org.
Assign necessary permissions to users who will interact with the service desk.
Test the service desk functionality to ensure it works as expected.
